Tomas Zenk has stopped running from his destiny. After being shown the truth of the world—that our reality is a horrible illusion built to suppress and enslave us, that its creator has abandoned this machine, and that Zenk alone has the potential to take this lost god's place—Tomas fled. He escaped from a trio of inexperienced cultists called The Claws of the Hidden Hand who sought to use his power to free humanity, from an anarchic hermit named Herzog, and from Astaroth the lord of Hell, a grotesque beast determined to destroy him.
Yet none of this would save his beloved family; he finds his daughters mentally and physically disabled. Pushed to his limit, Tomas gives in to the inevitable and makes his final stand. God help us all.
